Andrea Saposnik

Mezzo-soprano Andrea Saposnik is very excited to join Broadway Training Center! With 25 years of experience teaching voice, she focuses on healthy, natural singing for all styles; her students include classical vocalists, musical theater performers, and popular artists. Andrea has studied vocal anatomy and physiology intensively, participating in the New York Singing Teachers’ Association’s Professional Development Program for distinguished voice professionals; she is also certified in Somatic Voicework™. She has taught at the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Arcidosso, Italy; Greenwich House Music School in New York City, and the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, and she currently maintains a private voice studio in Hastings-on-Hudson. Andrea holds a Doctorate in Voice from CUNY Graduate Center, a Master’s in Voice from Yale University, a Bachelor’s in Voice from Oberlin Conservatory, and a Bachelor’s in English from Oberlin College. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, New York Singing Teachers’ Association, The Voice Foundation, and the American Guild of Musical Artists, and has performed extensively in opera, oratorio, and recital.
