Billie-Jo Buttner (she/her/hers) has been surrounded by the arts for as long as she can remember. Though not a performer herself, she specializes in Arts Management and enjoys working “behind the scenes”. She received her BA in Arts Management from Purchase College and her AS in Business Administration from Dutchess Community College. A believer in Arts Advocacy, Billie-Jo focused her Senior Thesis on the legal factors involved in the arts. She created a piece titled Contract Law in Theater: Their Importance and How to Structure Them that formed a newfound appreciation for the work that goes into keeping the arts alive. She has spent time working Off-Broadway in New York City and most recently was an Assistant House Manager of the Bard College SummerScape Festival.
Billie-Jo strives to bring a positive energy to all that she does, and is thrilled to become a member of the BTC Family!
